Phrexeus
The recommended 16GB low profile memory for my motherboard according to the corsair configurator is CML16GX3M4A1600C9B (blue). It doesn't list CML16GX3M4A1600C9 - is this a mistake or is the black version really incompatible? I'm not too bothered about the colour, but I would prefer black if I had the option. (Or 2 black, 2 blue ) Coming away from 4x XMP CMX4GX3M1A1600C9 (16GB) which turned out to be incompatible with my motherboard when used 4-up and caused freezing, in case it helps anyone. Phrexeus
Thanks. After trying to purchase, seems like they aren't available in the UK anyway... This is a bit frustrating as I need 16GB - ill have to consider 2x 8GB kits.
Wired
Mixing memory is NEVER recommended nor is it guaranteed to work.
