With all the new SSD's supporting the new Sata interface etc I was wondering if there will be a new IBIS variant coming out soon with the new Sandforce controller. I am currently running a Corsair x128 which has been great but I need more. With my x58 motherboard only supporting sata 2 it is unlikely I will buy any of the newer generation SSD's due to the Sata ports not fully utilising the bandwidth. So has anyone heard any news on a new IBIS type SSD as the pci-e connector is just what i need to increase the speed. Then my trusted x128 can go into my Asus 1201n netbook for some insane on the move browsing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
