curcuma
I would like to use a pair of new XMS3 modules on my AMD based Gigabyte Motherboard. The Corsair XMS3 DDR3 modules are 1600MHz certified (TW3X4G1333C9A Kit of 2x2GB, not bought yet but in a few days) and i would like to use it with the standard speed that AMD supports (no overclocking!) at 1333 MHz in dualchannel-mode. Is this troublefree possible or can the XMS3 causing trouble when running at lower speed ??? Is there anything other I should keep in mind ??? Thanks in advance for any answer !!! Wired
TW3X4G1333C9A are NOT 1600 MHz sticks, hence the 1333 in the part number. It will work @ 1333 MHz just fine of course.
