Dodgeman
Running 2, 512MB sticks, (1 gig) of XMS PC 3200 400 Corsair RAM in 2 Slots on my computer. Mother board has four memory slots and supports dual DDR 400 up to 4Gigs of RAM. Decided before loading Windows 7 I would update RAM. Purchased 2 512MB sticks of PC 3200 400 Corsair Value Select RAM. When all four sticks of RAM are installed together the system will not boot. When either set of RAM is installed the system boots as it should. Are these RAMS different and as such uncompilable? Thanks in advance,

Dodgeman
Would Corsair XMS 2 GB DDR1 Desktop Memory Kit CMC2GX1M2A400C3 be compatible with my XMS PC 3200 400 Corsair RAM? I can't seem to locate any new Ram like I have installed.
Wired
Same answer. It's never recommended to mix memory, to many variables, especially with DDR1. Best thing to do is to find a different use for that memory and get one new kit that meets all your needs.
