vasyl_y
I own lenovo T510 laptop and was looking for memory upgrade to 8G. CM3X4GSD1066 looked compatible price was about right and i bought it. memtest86 showed lots of failures. I put lenovo factory supplied (2GB) SODIM in upper slot (under keyboard) and one CM3X4GSD1066 in bottom slot. Test detected failures right afte the start. Second CM3X4GSD1066 works fine. After close examination i realized i have two different modules: CM3X4GSD1066 CM3X4GSD1066G CM3X4GSD1066 - does not work, CM3X4GSD1066G - works. Could be coincidence... But does anybody know what is the difference between CM3X4GSD1066 and CM3X4GSD1066G?
Wired
G is not part of the part number. G = Green (RoHS compliant).
