adamczap
Does anybody know what to do about this? Windows sees 8gb but can only use 4gb. The boot screen appears to only be reading 4gb also. What settings do I need to be using to make all 8gb work? I'm running 4x 2gb sticks. Sorry if this is a known issue and I just don't know about it, can anyone help me???! Wired
It's never recommended to mix kits even of the same part number. Best to return them and get ONE 8 GB kit that meets your needs. Having said that, you can always try lowering the speed and see if that helps. adamczap
Yes, I read that. I have a P55 board though. I may just have faulty DIMM 1 & 3 slots. It's really annoying, but if there is anything out there about the Gigabyte P55 boards having this issue I'd love to know about it. I'm going to play around with voltages a little more and report back.
