700D Front USB

my front usb on the case works, but when i plug my device (iphone, external HDD) in it my computer, it always fails installing the driver.

It seems to me almost as the usb doesn't have enough power to power the devices, but it is built on the case.

Im wondering if anyone else been experiencing this problem or know a way to fix it.

(i've installed windows many times, and used numerous different usb devices. and the results pretty much the same.)

thank for reading!

Ensure that the cable going from the front panel to the motherboard has all the pins securely connected.

There are times when the USB connector makes contact that not all pins come together in the right way, and it mis-detects the device. It may be that the connectors on your FP are faulty and you may want to RMA the front panel.
