asnbot Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 my front usb on the case works, but when i plug my device (iphone, external HDD) in it my computer, it always fails installing the driver. It seems to me almost as the usb doesn't have enough power to power the devices, but it is built on the case. Im wondering if anyone else been experiencing this problem or know a way to fix it. FlawlessSoul Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 Ensure that the cable going from the front panel to the motherboard has all the pins securely connected. There are times when the USB connector makes contact that not all pins come together in the right way, and it mis-detects the device.
