icecube
I have the Rampage III extreme and my system wouldnt boot with XMP either. It only booted when I increased vtt to 1.4, but I kept getting BSOD. I am now running at vtt of 1.5v, seems stable at the moment, still testing. icecube
It is the holidays, so lets be patient :) It seems stable for me at 1.5V QPI (with QPI/LLC enabled on R3E). But my cpu core temps are reaching 90C in LinX on H50. Anyone know if this is ok for my CPU for 24/7 ? Thanks!
Wired
Corsair is not open on the weekends. They'll be open Monday, 9 AM PST. Keep in mind that since this weekend (as well as next weekend) is a 3 day weekend for a lot of companies in the USA, they've got some catching up to do, so it'll take some time to respond to you. If you require faster support, either call in, or fill out a ticket (it's the RMA link on the left).

Wired
You need to seriously overclock your CPU to allow the CPU's internal memory controller to run memory at 2000 MHz. Have you overclocked your CPU? What CPU DO you have?
dr_nemo
Core i7 950 D0 tomorrow i try to set these settings^ BCLK 143 CPU ratio 23 (3.30GHZ) DRAM Frequency 2006 QPI frequency is set to the lowest option Dram timings 8-9-8-24-2T CPU Voltage 1.25v QPI/DRAM voltage 1.35 DRAM BUS Voltage 1.64 - 1.65 Windows not boot. icecube
I could not get my windows to boot under 1.5V =QPI Voltage/vtt . Even then it is not stable. I don't want to increase it any further because my CPU is already hitting 92C full load on the Corsair H50. My setup: i7 960 Rampage III Extreme Am I stuck with running this ram at 1600MHz????
