Psychor
Well some good news... the replacement PSU I was shipped from Corsair does not seem to whine like the first. I have to test it further but so far so good. The bad news? The mounting holes on the back of the new unit are somehow threaded differently and/or are smaller than the first AX1200 I received. Thus, screwing bolts into the mounting hole is not easy and causes the paint/coating around the mounting holes to chip. It seems the paint/coating chips quite easily on the new unit and no I did not miss the hole while attempting to screw in the bolt. ;): I also used the same bolts that I used without issue on the first AX1200. I'm curious if anyone else with a replacement AX1200 has noticed this. Thanks.
Wired
Did the replacement PSU come with its own screws, and if so, do they fit it?
