SamCKayak
I've updated my Corsair 256 to support TRIM. It runs fine, and performance measurements seem in spec. This question is more about Windows 7 system image. Does anyone know if the system image backs up the unused space, restoring that unused non-zero image to the SSD? Synbios
I don't know about any other tools except Acronis. When you image with Acronis it takes a copy of the entire drive: the partition tables, boot manager, and all the partitions on the drive, including contents and empty space. In other words, you better have the same exact drive to copy it to or at least the same size. (You technically could only image certain partitions, but it is a pain in the butt because you have to rebuild the partition table manually after.)
