DeepFreezed Posted August 8, 2010 Share Posted August 8, 2010 I am using CMX6GX3M3C1600C7 and started having the same issue couple of weeks ago. I ignored it and the memory stayed at 4GB for may cold/hot boots etc.... This weekend I did some research and tried to fix the issue. I saved my default OC profile in BIOS and changed it to XMP. It started showing the 6GB again. Then I switched back to my default OC profile and it still shows 6GB. So it is working again. I did many hot boots without success before switching the profile to XMP. What is causing the issue? Is it the memory? Is it the BIOS? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
