Nrog091
Hey guys, just opened up CPU-Z and was poking around, and I noticed that my memory (TR3X6G1600C8D) is reporting as CM3X2G1600C8D. Heres a screenshot: http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/2456/slot1.jpg Slots 3 and 5 look identical to slot 1. After a little research I found a thread about somebody who is having the same problem. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1375251 It seems that this person was having the same problem as his/her memory was reporting as the same part number that mine is. Either way is this a problem? All the memory sticks are labeled as TR3X6G1600C8D but report as CM3X2G1600C8D. Is this normal? Any help or suggestions? Wired
Read the FAQ that's on the left bar: How to read CPU-Z FYI, you're reading the part number for the stick in CPU-Z whereas TR3X6G1600C8D is the part number for the KIT. You're good to go.
