MarkHI Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 When I install a matched pair of 512s (1Gb) in dual channel configuration on the mobo (slots 1 and 2) will all 1 gig be accessible if i were running only one program? Or does the second channel work only if I'm multitasking? I'm confused because why would there be a single channel setup available (slots 1 and 3) for two sticks?
