jpuffer44 Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I've been using 4-cmx512-2700c2 in my Iwill dpi533 quite successfully for 2 years and wanted to upgrade for even more ram. I checked the Corsair Configurator and it seemed like 2-cmx10243200c2 would work. So I bought 'em. A matched pair. But no. I get continuous long beeps on post. Tried resetting bios to all defaults. jpuffer44 Posted January 4, 2006 Author Share Posted January 4, 2006 Set mem timing to default (2-3-3-6) but default mhz setting for my dual xeon 3.2s is 133. I am able to overclock that to 150 but won't boot beyond that. Anyway I have everything set to defaults now. Also, there's no provision for voltage changes in bios.
