factorof2
I just received a TWINX1024 C2PT, and have read the specs on it that note it runs at CAS 2. However, shortly after install I noticed that my motherboard had its timings at 3-3-3-8, instead of the 2-3-3-6. I figured maybe the SPD is set high but then read in the product specs that it's preprogrammed for low latency. Anyone have any idea what the problem may be or if it may just be a compatibility issue where I'll have to change the timings manually? My motherboard is a Soyo Dragon 2 with the 865 chipset. Wired
It's NOT pre-programmed for 2-3-3-6, it's pre-programmed for 3-3-3-8. Set it manually, you'll be fine.
