iCUE disconnecting

Recommended Posts

My iCUE  has started randomly turning itself on and off. I have checked that I have all the latest software and firmware updates, but it still keeps doing it.

System: Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero {WiFi}

Ryzen 9 3900X

Corsair DDR4 3600 32Gb

MSI RTX 3080Ti Suprim 12Gb

Windows 10 Pro

The RAM is the only CUE device?  While usb disconnect issues are very common on x570 platforms, it is not usually the RAM in play since it communicates in a different way. Are these CUE crashes?  Or the RAM drops in and out of CUE?

It's the CUE crashes, all profiles on the fans and strip led's turn off.

Have uninstalled then re-installed, seemed OK for a while but now back to random problems. Even now have one stick of ram lighting up and the other is off( but think it is dead RGB on that).

The RAM is CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18, the one on the left has the RGB that as just stopped working.
