mhsdemooij
Hi, Brand new keyboard, just 3 weeks old. The right arrow key randomly stopped working. Drivers are up to date. Key is not working on https://keyboardtester.co/keyboard-tester.html. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
c-attack
Try a forced firmware update. Go to CUE settings “gear” -> firmware -> check for update. It will come back as up to date but reveal a drop down menu at the end of the line. Choose force update. If that does not work, quit CUE and see if the behavior changes. If it does work when CUE is not running, go to Windows Settings> Apps> Corsair iCUE. At the end of the line choose “modify” from the drop down menu. Follow the prompts for the repair install. This will not erase profiles or settings, but is good at cleaning up weird peripheral/OS interactions. If it doesn’t work when CUE is not running, you can try the soft reset “ESC key” method described below. I am not overly hopeful it will resolve the issue, but it is the other tool available and likely something Corsair Support would ask you to try. It will erase any stored profiles on the KB. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explorer/gamer/keyboards/how-to-reset-corsair-gaming-keyboard/ If none of this works, it seems highly probable the switch is defective. Exchange it with the vendor or contact Corsair Support for the same purpose.
