tjgodin
I understand that changes set in the BIOS for User Mode only apply when the notebook is powered by the AC Adapter, but if I shutdown and then restart the BIOS seems to revert back to Balanced Mode even though the system is still plugged in. I'm on BIOS 1.38 so I'm not sure if anyone has experienced the same or has a workaround for the reset that has been occurring.
elytscha
i have experienced the same but a little bit different. for me, with the corsair amd gpu driver, i cant switch with fn+f5 between quiet/balanced/extreme when usermode is on but when i do fn+f5 with the newest stock amd gpu driver, i can switch between those modes, if i switch then from usermode to quiet via fn+f5 (maybe accidently) and reboot, there is the mode quiet set in bios, not usermode anymore. my problem with usermode is in general, with the provided corsair amd gpu driver, usermode just not works (has no effect) with the provided corsair amd chipset driver, usermode gets the voyager crashlooping for me usermode works only good with stock and newest amd gpu/chipset driver..
