RM 850E Power supply has only 4 and 4 pin for CPU

the 8 pin connector on the motherboard side can be split to 4 pins. It's a 4+4 connector.

hmmm usually it's 8 pin and 4 pin. are you refering it by just one row?

the EPS12V cables are split connectors, with two 4 pin snapped together.

If you need to connect the extra 4 pin of the mobo, just separate the connector on the cable and plug the half that fits (they are keyed)

It's rare to have CPUs that need the extra 4 pin anyway.

well in practice you only need the 8 pin one, even with a 13900k.

But all CPU cables should split as 4+4. Make sure you have the right end on the PSU. the one that does not split is on the power supply, the ends that splits goes on the motherboard.
