Carel
New rm850e has only CPU cable with 4pin, instead of 4 and 2 pin for my motherboard, ASUS 690 P-D4. Any solutions ? Regards, Carel
LeDoyen
the 8 pin connector on the motherboard side can be split to 4 pins. It's a 4+4 connector.

LeDoyen
hmmm usually it's 8 pin and 4 pin. are you refering it by just one row? the EPS12V cables are split connectors, with two 4 pin snapped together. If you need to connect the extra 4 pin of the mobo, just separate the connector on the cable and plug the half that fits (they are keyed) It's rare to have CPUs that need the extra 4 pin anyway. Carel
I have 2 cables marked as CPU, both cannot be split, but i need one 4pin and separate 2 pin. you can see it in left upper corner
Solution LeDoyen Posted December 4, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 4, 2022 well in practice you only need the 8 pin one, even with a 13900k. But all CPU cables should split as 4+4. Make sure you have the right end on the PSU. the one that does not split is on the power supply, the ends that splits goes on the motherboard.
