Three5050PIR
I recently purchased two sets of VENGEANCE RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600. The first set operates and reports correctly as CMW32GX4M2D3600C18. The second set reports as CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 despite being labeled as CMW32GX4M2D3600C18. Both sets of cards are identical. I have moved cards around in various configurations on the mother board. Regardless of which slot the cards are in, the model number matches the corresponding slot. Is this a packaging error on Corsair's part or am I missing something? I have attached a pic of the cards. Left 2 are incorrect (?) cards. Right 2 are correct. Corsair Employee Corsair Fer Posted June 29, 2021 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 29, 2021 I would recommend initiating a return with whichever vendor you purchased the kit reporting as a different SKU. Unfortunately, although not common, we see some kits being sold as new when they were in fact returns from a dishonest customer that committed return fraud (swapped labels). Three5050PIR
Thank you for the reply. I am returning to vendor. Hopefully that fixes it.
Three5050PIR
Quick follow up. I ordered new sticks from Amazon and they are working fine so it was definitely some schmuck swapping labels and returning.
