bloody74 Posted January 2, 2021 Share Posted January 2, 2021 (edited) Hallo, betreibe die software mit einem rm650i und einem ASUS tuf b550 gaming board. im dashboard werden mir 8 Lüfter angezeigt, warum? ich habe nur 7 Lüfter verbaut. an 3 fan Anschlüssen hängen jeweils 2 Lüfter mit y Kabel+ der Hecklüfter alleine. der Chipsatz selbst hat keinen Lüfter. der Netzteillüfter wird auf dem dashboard separat aufgeführt, bei den Diagrammen, vom Netzteil. das gleiche mit den Temperaturen. diese erscheinen teilweise doppelt. laut icue dashboard hat mein ASUS 13 Temperatursensoren, die mir in icue angezeigt werden. im HW Info sind es derer "nur"12, von denen 2 wohl eh keine Funktion haben. auch hier wird die PSU Temperatur separat bei den details zur PSU gelistet. was mir auch noch auffiel, laut Handbuch soll der PSU-lüfter ab ca 260-270 watt, beginnen sich zu drehen. bei meiner psu hat er sich in 5 stunden nicht gedreht, bei anliegender last von ca 310watt und temps von 57 (psutemp1) und knapp43 grad (PSU temp2). nach dem gaming hat sich dann der PSU lüfter für ca 2-3minuten in Bewegung gesetzt. wann geht nun der Lüfter der PSU an, wenn eine bestimmte last anliegt oder wenn eine bestimmte Temperatur erreicht wurde? und muss zur Steuerung, Icue im Hintergrund ausgeführt werden oder egal? c-attack Posted January 2, 2021 Share Posted January 2, 2021 CUE gets it's motherboard data from the Asus Embedded Controller (EC). It historically has difficulty in communicating exact configurations or data. Duplicate temperatures are common, along with some garbage data like 0C, 150C, or -17C temps. You can delete these items by dragging them out of the motherboard box to give them their own window, then use the delete function to remove it. The PSU data should appear separately since it is a Corsair "i" device and connected to the system via USB 2. The fan control parameters are complex and it is a combination of temperature and wattage that may trigger it. The 43C is the temperature that matters and it may not force the fan on until 45-50C if you are still under the power limit trigger. If you have specific questions about the PSU trigger points, you might ask in the PSU section of the forum where you can get a more technical response.
