Amazed Posted April 26, 2005 Share Posted April 26, 2005 Can anyone tell me if it's possible to mix (existing) 2x512 DIMMS with two additional 2x1024 DIMMS? All being Corsair XMS of course. I would like to be able to do so instead of replacing the smaller ones at this time. I know that would fill up my system slots, but it's my most cost efficient way at this time and it would give me 3GB instead of taking baby steps and ending up with only 2GB for now. I rarely overclock (sometimes just to experiment) so that's not a big needed feature. These are the modules I have at present: Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT 1GB DDR400 XMS3200 (2x512) Thanks for any tips in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
