Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted January 17, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 17, 2020 The 8(4+4)pin EPS12V cable splits into two separate 4-pin connectors to allow for use with 4pin CPU power connectors on the motherboard. bernardodo
Thank you for your answer. But they don't split horizontally, they split vertically so how may i connect a square of 4 pin female :: to a line .... Here are 2 pictures that may help to have a better understanding Motherboard (take into account only "A" on the picture) : http://tof.canardpc.com/view/0fa4f4a3-c14f-4ee4-b00d-aeab3f5ddd57.jpg Power supply : https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71THv90vR5L._AC_SL1500_.jpg Edited January 21, 2020 by Technobeard
bernardodo
Is there some sort of cable to go from 4 female (square 2X2) up to 4 male in one line ?
Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted January 20, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 20, 2020 The diagram of the motherboard headers are not power connectors to where you would plug your PSU into in order to power your system. Those are fan headers and only meant to power a case fan.
Salsiccia
As Corsair Notepad points out, the "A" diagram that you posted is a fan header, not the PSU "EATX" connector. Your PSU connection is probably up the top left of your motherboard (approx. North West from your CPU socket), but without knowing your exact motherboard its tough to guess.
