forg1vr
Hi Guys, maybe this is already known, otherwise I would like to raise this. I have this weird issue with my Corsair LED Strips that they partially stop responding after a few minutes. So when I start up the PC, no problems, the lights change all according to plan. But then, suddenly, 2 of the strips keep a static color, and only the other 2 work normally. Even changing the profile doesn't reset the stuck LED strips, neither does turning them off in the software completely. Only a restart helps. Anybody else has this issue as well? xMacias
Do you have any other RGB devices in your iCUE system? Do they have this issue? If you restart iCUE, do they start working temporarily again?
forg1vr
I have a K70Mk.2 since last week - and that is working fine. I would still assume it is a software glitch, as the strip works normal at first. And a fault on the strip would show directly, wouldn’t it? Meaning then it wouldn’t work at all, not even after the startup?
forg1vr
I did some further digoing myself: -Switched the strips to 2nd port of the LED controller —> same problem -After about 10-15 minutes of gaming the lights get stuck (FarCry5, but also a custom profile in BFV —>Keyboard has no problem -after closer inspection, strip 3&4 get stuck. I have all 4 strips daisy chained to get a better lighting effect -restarting icue services or the exe makes no difference, only a hard reset -when strip 3&4 get stuck, I can still make all the changes to strips 1&2, as well as the keyboard
nafwaz
Did anyone come up with a solution to this? I'm having the exact same issue. Mine is with the Lighting Node Pro. The rest of my iCUE RGB stuff seems to work okay.
Corsair Employee Corsair Roland Posted October 21, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 21, 2020 I would recommend calling Tech Support and having the strips replaced. If just one strip has bad led's, they can cause the rest to fail or weird color effects.
