Bryhain84 Posted December 24, 2018 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Hi, I have a second hand H100i and the cable which has the sata connector also has a cable which I believe is supposed to connect to the CPU fan header (I saw someone refer to it as a dummy connector, just so that the system thinks there's a fan connected). The problem is, the cable doesn't have a fan connector but some wierd hook like thing. It only appears to be a single wire so maybe it just has to close connect the power and the ground. c-attack Posted December 24, 2018 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Best guess is someone ripped the end plastic connector off that. I don't have a older H100i to compare it to. Theoretically, you don't need that to run and the above description is correct. However, make sure to tape that thing off and secure it safely away from anything else.
