Need help with RGB lighting

I've just bought a brand new Strafe RGB with silent switches and I absolutely love it, it looks cool, feels awesome and even sounds, well... quiet. I have one slight problem which is annoying me, I cant use any of the dynamic lighting settings. I have tried anything from the most upvoted lighting profiles to even simple rainbow effects, but I still can't use it. they appear to be working until I start typing with it on, here is an example of me using the dynamic lighting.

translated from that gibberish it should read "I cant type with this on its honestly ridiculous."

 

please, someone, help me with this, because at the moment all I can use whilst typing is static lighting and I would like to have something differentiating.

Double check the profile you imported is set as default.

 

To set a default profile, simply move it to the top of the list.

What profiles are you using from RGB share?

 

When you typed "icat type t llwth ts o its hesly idiclos" Was that with the downloaded profile running in the background?

 

Have you tried lowering your polling rate as well?
