Cobas
Hi folks! Seems to be that this is a proper thread for all of us lucky Ryzen owners. Same on my side, Asus Prime x370-pro (0604 bios) and i managed to buy CMK16GX4M2B3466C16 with a good discount and guess what? Its not going above 2133 no matter what i do :( The thing is that Ryzen actually supports up to 3600mhx ddr4 (Biostar is already posted that they are going to relese proper bios version for its support). So i guess that as with any totally new tech (and intel latest cpu generations are not new tech at all) we just have to wait for bios updates. I hope Asus will work on it as soon as possible... In any case its a 2nd day im trying to find a way to make my memory to work at least on 3000 or 3200 and no luck at all :( Edited May 7, 2017 by Cobas
prd0000
Hi, I am using Ryzen 1600, and CMK16GX4M2A2666C16. According the your list, it is compatible, but no matter how I set my RAM timings, I always get an error. It is bootable, and can run most application mostly fine. But they are not stable. Any idea on timings? As a side note, I can run fine with CMK32GX4M2B3000C15 RAM.
ewitte
I've been able to run the 32GB LED kit CMU32GX4M2C3200C16 (5.39) at 2666 CAS 14-16-16-36-T1. It ran at 14-14-14 but wasn't 100% stable. Ignore the 2.7 vcore it is really 1.38125 :D 2933 also runs but I was at CAS 18 and it wasn't 100% stable either (probably because it is at T1 and I can't change it). Hopefully with the new updates coming :) Edited May 11, 2017 by ewitte

Hyncharas
I'm putting together my own list of Vengeance LED/RGB chips that do (and upcoming models that should) run under Ryzen. Hopefully this will help people wanting to make use of them.
ewitte
Mine is at 2T, and it is not stable either. Hoping on 1.0.0.5 or 1.0.0.6 update it will be for now I'm fine with 2666 CAS 14 for a dual rank 32GB kit :) I haven't had time for full stability testing but got 30 min Prime95 before I left the house. diachka
Hi all ) I'm going to upgrade my system to ryzen. Choosing from two mobo options: Asrock Taichi and Asus Crosshair VI. Have a compatibilty question for Dominator Platinum (CMD16GX4M2B3200C14 or CMD16GX4M2B3200C16) owners. Are these kits single ranked and use B-Die Samsung chips or not? If you have them and can look closer, then please answer here or PM me with short msg "yes/no and version". Will be appreciated. Thanks! PS. technical support doesn't have such info and can't help.... EDIT: found message about CMD16GX4M2B3200C16 at previous page... Is there any changes since then ITAngel? Edited May 15, 2017 by diachka
diachka
At this moment found in the network few proven existing B-Die Samsung SR modules: Corsair Vengeance 3400 MHz CL16 CMU32GX4M4B3400C16 Corsair Dominator 3600 MHz CL16 CMD32GX4M4B3600C16 Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz CL16 CMK32GX4M4B3600C16 Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz CL18 CMK32GX4M4B3600C18
Hyncharas
@Corsair CJ Great news about the BIOS updates on motherboards! I had downloaded all the support lists last week to put together an easy-to-read document, but just haven't gotten around to it yet... At least the part numbers as to what's compatible are available. Cobas
With new agesa 1006 i managed to boot on my asus prime x370-pro with my Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3466C16 at 3000mhz stable, but no matter what i do i cant go any further. It probably requires more and deep bios tinkering. UPDATE: Managed to pump it up to 3200, seems to be stable. Edited June 8, 2017 by Cobas
Atomkinder
Just downloaded the beta 0803 BIOS update for the Prime X370 Pro. So far I have been running 2933MHz on the CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 kit since BIOS 0511. About to try the new one, will post back if I can hit 3200 as easily as I've been running 2933. Atomkinder
Unfortunately not as easy as using the DOCP setting. Back to 2933MHz @14-14-14-36 for now. Will investigate more when I have the time.
mster
AGESA 1006 shows no improvement for me. Couldn't move beyond my original 2933MHz no matter what I try with CMU16GX4M2C3200C16 on my Asus Prime X370 Pro. The best timings I have been able to eke out are 14-15-15-34, those still stay the same on 1006.
Cobas
3200 was not stable in the end. This is wierd, all the tests are running fine, but from time to time (not all the time) windows gives me a blue screen. Back to 3000mhz :( This is kinda lame, cuz i see CMK16GX4M2B3600C18 in a supported ram list now, but i cant even get my 3466 working...
Atomkinder
One improvement I have seen with the 0803 BIOS on the Prime X370 Pro is now I can cold boot with my 2933MHz OC. If I shut the power off before at the PSU (flipped the switch) it would fail until there was power put to the DIMMs. Boots just fine now. Need to test more settings to see if I can get 3200MHz though.
Oikuar
Hey, Anyone know is CMK32GX4m4a2400C12 -memory compatible with Ryzen?
Boxkid
I feel as if I have a unique situation with my ram. I own both the CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R and CMU16GX4M2C3200C16. Both kits are version 5.39 and the only noticeable difference is one has red LED's and the other has white LED's. My white kit runs smoothly at 3200mhz @1.35v 16-18-18-36 The red kit can only obtain a speed of 2933 with the same settings. I am running it on an MSI X370 Titanium Motherboard with a Ryzen 1800x cpu @ 3.7ghz Quick Edit: Bios version 1.74 Beta
quakeguy
Will these get at least 2933 mhz on a Ryzen 7 1700x + ASUS Crosshair 6 mobo? Vengeance® LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - Black P/N: CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 Think they got a good chance of hitting 3200mhz? There's an ASUS Engineer with an ASUS CH6 Motherboard thread. Some users have reported decent clocks. I got a question though, what's the DRAM Ratio Actual DRAM Frequency Is DRAM ratio the advertised? Is actual DRAM freq what the motherboard is reporting as live? A user got this kit to 3520 mhz with a DRAM Voltage: 1.4 CPU SOC Voltage: 1.15 Are these safe settings for long term use? http://www.overclock.net/t/1624603/rog-crosshair-vi-overclocking-thread Edited June 17, 2017 by quakeguy
naidu
Anyone have luck with CMU32GX4M2C3200C16 and Asus Hero board with 1401 Bios? I can't seem to get it above 2100. Before I was able to push it to 2666.
Cobas
Those are absolutely fine. Dram V can go up to 1.5 safely. SOC v - can be 1.1 max, not more.

Cobas
You might wanna consider getting faster memory, something around 3200 or even more, since memory speed is quite important for ryzen cpu performance.
diogob
Hello guys, Corsair vengeance RGB 32GB DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz works well with Ryzen 7? Ir it will depends on motherboard? Thank you :)
Boxkid
@diogob The ram should work just fine with ryzen, however, it depends on the motherboard bios update as some may not yet be using AGESA 1.0.0.6 which is allowing ram to run at speeds of up to 4000mhz
