Corsair H100i V2 Compatibility

So, here's the issue - the first pc I built, which was in 2014, had the original Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler. The original H100i allowed its radiator fans to be replaced, and swapped out with other fans. My question is as follows - I want to use the new Corsair 570X RGB Case, and I want to use the new Corsair H100i V2. Can I swap out the fans on the H100i V2 with Corsair's new HD120 fans?

Overall Question - Can I replace the stock fans on the H100i V2 with Corsair's HD120 fans?

Yes, the HD120's have PWM control like the included SP120L model. To that end, it is a direct swap and plug and play. However, note the lighting aspect of the HD120 requires a separate control box and another control line to each fan. The HD controller will not be compatible with the SP120 rgb controller on the case nor the sp120 rgb fans on the front panel. You will need a controller for each set.
