rsabatino Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 just a quick question about these fans I am currently using the hydro series h100i v2 and I was looking at these fan I currently have two white sp120 fans but they are three pin fans. my question is what is the default color of these fans right out the box. the logo for the cooler is white so I am wondering if they are the same. my case currently is white fans my gpus glow green and my sli bridge is green also. Charixfox Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 The LEDs do not light up at all without a controller. They are not run from the same 12v as the fan. They run off separate 12v PWM Fan and 5V Digitally-addressed LED systems. If the fan is plugged in by itself, there is no light. If the LEDs are plugged in to a motherboard header (12v), they die in a blaze of glory. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
