Hello, together,

I have allowed myself cpu and mainboard upgrade after my graphics gard was limited by my old Phenom II system.

At the moment I use an **rock H87 Pro4 with a X3on 1230v3, however i have taken over my old Ram according to specifications on 1600Mhz, i have not paid attention at the voltage of the dimms.

My 4x identical 2 GB Corsair Dominator need according to the print on the Heatspreader 1.8 volts, furthermore the following text is still printed:

TW3X4G1600C9D - 9-9-9-24 ver8.1

My Mainboard Auto select 1,55v but i could choose manual max 1,8v so i would ask you guys to help me out by telling me what should i do?

That is the only option which autoselect that is made by the board the other settings are not made by SPD i must choose it by myself.

I dont want to destroy anything or a unstable system.

CM3X2G1600C9DHX but its not true i really got 4x TW3X4G1600C9D

thx for helping me

greets from germany (If you dont understand anything i wrote, tell me and i will try to explain it)

Since those are rather old modules without a standard profile for DDR3-1333 even, they probably actually need lots of volts for higher frequencies. However i would not use them at 1.8V in a modern system. They might be stable at DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 with something between 1.50V and 1.65V, but you would have to test that for yourself.
