c-attack Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 There really shouldn't be a drop off in performance with age, unless the pump begins to weaken and the flow rate slows. Otherwise, only corrosion or some other degradation of the metal contact plate would lead to a loss in performance. This isn't something people report very often and you are more likely to wear out the mechanical parts (pump/fans) before anything like the above happens.
