narticus
My H100i cooler seems to have suddenly died. I receive a CPU Fan Error message as soon as I boot, and when I launch BIOS, the CPU temp rises to 88C within a few seconds. Prior to this I installed Windows 10 which is supposedly incompatible with Corsair Link. Whenever I booted to OS I would get a Corair Link error, so I uninstalled it. Could that be the cause? Should I risk booting to OS with a 88C CPU to reinstall Corsair Link? I've dismounted the cooling block and reapplied a new layer of thermal paste, and that didn't help. When in BIOS, the CPU RPM displays as N/A. Any suggestions?
Toasted
Most likely dead. Have you tried a different SATA power connector? You can request an RMA to replace the cooler. Make sure you upload a picture of your invoice as proof of purchase. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
