techkid
Hello there!I am a first time pc builder and i am having a huge issue with my pc atm.I have an MSI 970 GAMING Mobo and a corsair RM750X psu but the 24pin con. WON'T connect fully. The 24pin con. is 20+4pins but from what i can see those4pins do not go all the way in.Any ideas on how to fix this?I am too scared to apply too much force on the mobo in case it brakes! Could i seperate the 4 pins from the 20 pins and try to plug in the 4 first and then the 20?? Will that create any issues with my system?
Vegan
I am assuming you have the cable the in the correct orientation I have occasionally needed to hold the edge of the motherboard to get the 2x12 cable to snugly seat with my Corsair power supplies You may find the split cable hard to place. Use the cable intact, the split is only for older motherboards with 2x10 headers which are now rare with PCI Express having been the video card slot for over a decade now
