I bought the VOID because it didn't limit me to having my face infront of my mic. When i record videos with FRAPS, my voice sounds like i'm yelling through a bullhorn and all other game audio sounds great. I use windows 10. I went into the Recording Devices and changed my audio to CD QUALITY (top choice), then i went into playback devices to change it to STUDIO QUALITY but that is grayed out and i cannot change it. I was hoping to use the Corsair to record, but i can't get the audio quality to sound any better than a bullhorn in a prison. I would like to use just the Corsair all the time, but until i can figure out how to change that setting in playback devices, i'll have to go back to the Yeti. Toasted Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 You could try lowering your microphone recording volume in Windows and Fraps (if available) and see if that helps. Have you tried updating Windows as well as your chipset drivers?
