k70 rgb rainbowSnake v1 Profile (Multi-mode)

Hey guys, I recently got my hands on a K70 RGB and after a bit of experimenting with the CUE software, here's my first attempt at a K70 RGB profile.

 

rainbowSnake

A multi-mode RGB profile featuring a rainbow snake effect that goes around the keyboard in all kinds of funky ways.

 

Modes:

Dark: The basic rainbow snake effect on a black (non-lit) background.

Dark WASD: Rainbow snake effect that ignites the WASD keys.

Dark Big: Bigger rainbow snake!

Fade: Rainbow snake effect on a red background that fades in the snakes' path.

Typing: A more subtle mode, with a shorter snake and red letter-keys. (I personally use this mode on 33% brightness).

 

Mode-switch hotkey: "Pause/Break"

 

Every mode has a 20 second interval on the snake effect, just so it doesn't get too crazy.

Changes:

• Improved pathing and timing of the snake effect, making for a smoother transition on the numpad keys (all modes).
  
• Added a subtle delayed reactive typing effect (all modes).
  
• Mode "Dark WASD" now has a more subtle way of igniting the WASD keys.
  
• Snake effect in "Dark Big" now ignores the delete-key (smoother).
  
• Improved fading in "Fade" mode.
  
• Amount of keys lit in "Typing" mode increased.
  
• Cleaner use of lighting groups.
