juzmania
Hi I updated my bios and now the fan is going full pelt even when idle. It ignores the Corsair Link (apart from the LED bit) and i an baffled what is causing this. Any suggestions? Thanks Juz

Nichrome
Clear CMOS (reset BIOS to default settings) as you have upgraded (flashed) your BIOS. Then reinstall Corsair Link.
juzmania
Good idea. I tried it, didn't work. Any more ideas? It's been working fine for a year and this bios update has made it loud.
juzmania
And the temperature of the cooler is a solid 30c and the fan is 4500rpm. Surely this aint right. Could a windows refresh sort this or is it more fundamentally in the bios or hardware?
juzmania
Any other ideas guys? I've got it under control with speedfan but really want the corsair stuff to manage it automatically rather than me manually
