I bought an H100i today from Best Buy and installed it. I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly and have checked multiple times. The fans turn on but the pump will not. No lights. No cooling. Just the fans. The CPU temperature is insanely high when I boot up so it's obviously not running. It's not being picked up by iCue either. I was not really paying attention when I plugged it in for the first time but I think there was a flash and a click from the pump. Does this mean it shorted out or does anyone else have this problem?

My pump is making a loud noise for the past 4 days, it’s a very loud humming noise and when I start a game it makes a rattling noise. To be clear when I got it first it used to make absolutely no noise. Fans and pump are running on quiet via icue rattling noise https://streamable.com/mhbq5 humming noise https://streamable.com/eeudw

Hey guys first time building a pc. On first boot my Corsair h100i rgb platinum is recognized in the bios as the cpu fan with a constant 4500 rpm. After unplugging the radiator and just leaving the pump on to see what happens, same thing, 4500 rpm on the cpu header. Have played around and it’s definitely not the two case fans, they run at around 1200. The pump is also not recognized in the bios at all. My cpu temps seem to sway between 48 and 53 Celsius. Scared to fully boot because I’m scared of the high rpm of the pump and don’t want to break anything, anybody got an idea what could be the culprit?

My computer was working correctly earlier today. I ordered a new corsair spec 06 case from amazon and RM850 power supply. Today, I finally received the new parts and began transferring my parts from my old case (NZXT S340 Razer Special Edition.) After I had transferred everything and switched to the new power supply nothing would turn on. so after trying a few different things I decided to try out my old power supply (EVGA 550GS) and it worked, or so i thought. After staring up my PC I quickly realized there was an issue with my corsair h100i rgb platinum now. While connected to the same sata power adapter as my samsung hard drive, the pump would only glow bright red snd my cpu would over heat quickly. So, I powered the system down and tried using its own sata power cord. This is as far as I've made progress. My bios is not picking up the cooler as well as the ICUE software and Corsair link software. The pump will only light up about halfway a light blue and the fans will spin slowly and not light up at all the system overheats still but much slower. After looking in the bios, I can see my cpu fan or pump fan (I've tried using both.) are only coming on for short amounts of time at a little less then 500 rpm. I'm really stuck and don't know what to do from here, Everything is plugged in and all I've changed is the case, everything was working properly just prior to me installing the new products. Does anyone know what my issue might be? Thanks.
