2crazy2furious Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 all the problems started when i changed a few parts to my forth computer, i upgraded my hd2600 pro to a 8800gt, swap out the old safe power 465watt psu, for a corsair 550vx, two things I've noticed psu spins up real loud when running a game or bench test, then slows down back at desktop, and the 8800gt get smokeing hot 80c at load sometimes even with fan speed set to 100%, I've never had this problem with this corsair psu before install on my other systems, before the fan would barley spin up, or even hear the psu at all, for the 8800gt i had it in my other tower with a huge side case fan, maybe thats why it ran so cool Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
