pinkfloyd1173
I am thinking about buying the 3 pack of these fans and also getting a extra one? I am wondering how many fans can I hook up to the hub that comes with the 3 pack? Since I am buying a extra one will I need to buy the commander pro? I have a 2 rgb headers and 2 argb headers on my mobo, would I be able just to hook the one extra fan to my argb header?? I have 4 fans in my case, 3 front, 1 back. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.
DevBiker
You can put up to 6 fans on the hub that comes with the 3 pack. There's no need to hook them up to your motherboard. It's possible, with a 3rd party adapter, if you have addressable (3-pin) RGB on the motherboard. But iCUE's control and effects are richer than anything that you'll have with the motherboard software. A Commander Pro is totally optional. From an RGB perspective, it won't give you any more than you would already have with the Lighting Node Pro and your LL fans. However, it has the fan controller and thermistors that allow you to have really good, precise and flexible control over your fan speeds.
