nfxcr3w
Anyone know if it's a good idea to occupy 3 memory slots or keep it in Dual Channel? Until I get the extra Ram? had to send one back since one was faulty so have 3 now.

c-attack
This is with Corsair? Or a vendor? That really shouldn't happen. However, I think in the meantime run a quick memory read/write/copy test from AIDA or wherever and see how it turns out (3 vs 2). I would think the 3 and 8GB is cutting it a bit close these days for greedy applications.

With a Vendor, I know what you mean games are taking at least 12GB think i'll just waait in no hurry right now.
Corsair Employee Corsair Rick Posted May 30, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 30, 2019 Hey nfxcr3w, I'd recommend talking to the retailer and see if you can get the kit replaced as a set. We replace memory kits as a kit to ensure compatibility between the modules.
