Hi, I'm trying to get an hx1200i to post an Asus z270-A mobo. I ran these 2 together no prob for 2yrs then the hx1200i went 'bang'. I've RMA'd it and now can't get the Asus z270-A to post. However I can get the mobo to post with a spare Corsair Rm550x and I can get the hx1200i to post a different board too. I've stripped the z270-a down to bare components. The led power light comes on and the cpu fan spins but no post. Bizarre given both post other systems ok. I booted the z270-a into win 10 and left it for 24hrs with the 550 psu but the hx1200i won't Post it. Any suggestions?

Habe ein gebrauchtes aber unbenutzte Corsair RM550X Netzteil bei willhaben gekauft. Lt. Verkäufer hatte es zu wenig Anschlüsse für ihn und er hat es nur einmal eingebaut aber nicht benutzt. Das Teil stammt lt mitgegebener Rechnung von Amazon gekauft 02/2018. Ich habe es gestern in meinen PC korrekt eingebaut, der Schalter Rückseite stand auf 0 und das Netzkabel war noch nicht mit der Steckdose verbunden. Alle Anschlüsse waren korrekt montiert. 24Pin, Gpu, SATA's, CPU. Als ich fertig war hab ich das Teil mit dem Stromkabel verbunden, den Schalter auf I gestellt und ich bin mir nicht mehr so ganz sicher ob es da schon geknallt hat oder erst beim PC Schalter drücken. Auf jeden Fall fiel sofort der FI Stromschutzschalter und im Anschluss hab ich das Teil sofort vom Netz getrennt und ausgebaut. Ich habe mein vorheriges schwächeres Rasurbo 450 BAP wieder eingebaut und wieder ganz normal den PC gestartet der auch noch ganz normal hochgefahren ist und zum Glück alles läuft. Ich habe gelesen, das man ein Corsair Netzteil mittels Büroklammermethode selber testen kann, indem man mit einer Büroklammer die Pins 4 und 5 im montierten 24Pin Kabel verbindet. Meine Frage: Wie finde ich Pin 4 und 5 richtig heraus? Indem ich oben entlang gehe, oder von links von oben nach unten zähle nach rechts fortlaufend (Klemme oben). Funktioniert das überhaupt, oder ist das (zu) gefährlich? Ich habe dies bezüglich bereits auch ein Ticket eröffnet. Gibt es da noch eine Möglichkeit die Garantie nutzen zu können. Ich hab vom Käufer die Amazon Rechnung als PDF mitgesendet bekommen und in meinem Ticket beigefügt? Der PC ist momentan nicht nutzbar da mein altes Netzteil keinen Stromanschluss für eine stärkere GTX1070ti hat. Danke für etwaige Hilfestellungen

I just install a new RM550x in my PC, when I turn the system on it will start to boot, after approximately 40 seconds (never at the same point) the Power Supply shuts down, I have taken all extra memory out, only one HD, and Vidoe card just bare bones. Mother Board is EVGA nForce 680i SLI, video card XFX Radeon R5 220 But still doesn't make it through the boot. Is there anyway to tell if the PS is shutting down because it can not handle the power. It seams like something is going on with the PS, but I can not tell for sure, any ideas would help Thanks in advance.
