Pejaten10
Many of us, have complained about the lack of side window panel in 600T, and now Corsair has answered it with the 600T white edition. This is my version of 600T. I am thinking, why not take window panel size even further. 600 T has unique design unlike others on its panel. I hope, my Corsair 600T mod could be inspiration for you. And for those who is holding back from buying this case for the lack of side window, just don't hesitate to buy this case. Great build inside and out, just like Corsair said. Here are the pictures : http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/4131/dsc04015p.jpg http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/1789/dsc04011k.jpg http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/776/corsair600tii5.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/9643/dsc04042h.jpg http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/2941/corsair600tii4.jpg http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/2169/corsair600tii1.jpg
Wired
Absolutely awesome mod! Did you use ANY part of the side (aside from the door clips)?
Pejaten10
Absolutely awesome mod! Did you use ANY part of the side (aside from the door clips)? Thanks.. I didn't use any of the 600T steel side panel. It's full acrylic. The 600T side panel is still in perfect condition. It's a shame to cut such panel. The plus of this mod is i can exchange the panel whenever i want. Between window mode and closed mode.
Wired
So the handles are intact on the original door?

Pejaten10
This door is AWESOME. Thanks for sharing it . Thx.. I deliberately put it here, to encourage people to have their casing modded. And also, 600T have such beautiful interior so why keep it closed?
slotrod
I am in the middle of My Mod Project Carbon with a 800D. But I have been looking at this case for my next build probably a simple air cooled system. If you don't mind I would like to borrow your idea here. I will do something with the case but this clear side is great.

I will do something with the case but this clear side is great. Feel free to use my idea. The full window side panel with black acrylic maybe the best mod for 600T. It's look simple, elegant, and matches the overall design of 600T. Looking forward to your mod.
vivithemage
I love this mod ... how'd you do it? What was the cost?!
vivithemage
I just noticed that your latches don't look like they actually latch on?
Wired
Look like they're in the same position as the standard latches on a normal side.
vivithemage
Look a little closer.
Wired
I'm looking at the distance between the top of the latch and the top edge of the door. Looks similar (but tough to tell either way).
vivithemage
Just wanted to point out I don't think his side is actually latching on. I am going to a modshop to make me one like this, but have em latch!
bigninja
How did you make it? And the fake latches?
FlawlessSoul
Latches? Latches? We don' need no stinkin' latches.
sidnrw
How did you fix the new side panel, when the latches are faked ?
MeanBruce
Well they look like Corsair latches, great job! Where did you get the extra latches? Are they functional? Looks awesome, would love this for an alternative panel for my 650D in April. Is the acrylic tinted gray? Or smoky black? I really likes it! ;)
M.Beier
That looks fantastic! I am quite annoyed about the lack of window, and hope to get my hands on one of those window/mesh sides Corsair has started making now. I have to agree with you on it bieng a beautiful chassie, I need to clean mine though, had it open for too long, dust in there now.... The filters works like a gem usually, but not when you have the sidepanel off, obviously! *Since you've done such a awesome job on the mod, it is a bit ashame with that crappy Gigabyte I/O plate... Lovely motherboard, sucky I/O plate, dont know how they possibly can keep making them that oldfashion, they work for only old plastic chassies 10yr+ :-/
