chipbowl300
I just rebuilt a new system with the 800d case, I am trying to do a RAID with two OCZ SSD's and I put them in the first two hot-swappable bays. After some trial and error, I moved them to the bottom and after some other tinkering, one of them is now recognized (in the third slot) so I tried moving it back to the first and with it connected to the SATA connections on the back of the HDD module I went back into the BIOS and now that drive is not recognized, so I am wonderin if the first two SATA connections on this case are defective? Any ideas?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 12, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 12, 2010 Try bypassing the backplane circuit boards and plug the SATA connectors directly into the drives. If you only have problems when using the backplanes then please Request an RMA and we should be able to replace the backplanes for you.
