Right now I have a AMD Athlon-64 3400+ w/ Hyper Transport CPU and a ASUS K8V Deluxe Via-K8T800 Motherboard. I'm willing to pay top dollar for the best Corsair RAM possible for this rig. I do a lot of hardcore gaming, and I need the best RAM to go with my NVIDIA 6800 ULTRA. Is it possible to fit the TwinX1024-3200XLPRO on this motherboard w/o it having problems? And once fitted, will it run at 200mhz each at 2-2-2-5-1 latencies? I asked this because 2 buyer's guides say 2 different things. One of them addresses Athlon-64 chips exclusively: http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair...e_July-2004.pdf and the other one addresses the mobo that I have: http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair...-2004-APRIL.pdf The TwinX3200-XLPRO says its designed for dual-channel cpu/mobos, but why does the buyers guide say go with that for the Athlon-64 chips. My 3400+ only talks to one channel of memory. I just dont know which one to follow. Maybe you guys could help me out. Currently, I'm running a gig of Kingston HyperX DDR400 PC3200 at 2.6V 2-3-2-6-1. I think I need something a little faster for the BEST possible performance. Thanks guys..

If you have memory that will run at Cass 2-3-2-6 and not having any problems I would stay with what you have! Our Twinx1024-3200XL would be slightly faster and will run on this MB! At least it runs great on my K8V Deluxe! However, if you have another use for these modules I don't think you will be sorry, but you may find you need to set the Rass to Cass (TRCD) to "3" and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and you should use slots 1-3!
