ShiningTurtle
Hello, I have a single LL140 Fan without any hub or whatever + I have a Commander Pro that I recently bought. I connected the Fan into the Commander Pro but it didn't work, I let the RGB cable from the Fan hanging in the Case, I knew the RGB wouldn't work because I don't have the RGB Hub and the Commander Pro doesn't have any RGB Headers except for LED Header for Strips. Do I really need two hubs to get a LL140 Fan working? So I need the Commander Pro + RGB HUB to get the LL140 Fan to work?
DevBiker
Yes, you do. It would be possible, however, to hack together your own cable for a single fan. See the link in my sig for creating cables/repairing fans for the parts. Pin 2 (data pin) from the LNP would go to Pin 3 on the Fan. Pin 3 (ground) would go to Pin 4 on the fan. Pin 1 stays the same and, on the fan, Pin 2 is empty. That should work to put a single fan on a lighting channel.
