Muhad
I purchased an Evga GTX295 and it requires 12v at 40amps. Will this Corsair power supply be ok with this video card? here is a review page ... http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTQ4Nyw2LCxoZW50aHVzaWE=
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 13, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 13, 2009 40A @ 12v = 480 watts, that would be the power recommendation for the entire system that you are using the GTX295 in. The card itself can pull a maximum of 289 watts according to Nvidias website. The HX1000 has 2 12v rails each rated at 40 amps, so you will have plenty of power.
