Vengeance 1500 problem

Hey,

I just bought these headphones. But i cannot figure out how to make them work properly.

Two major problems with corsair drivers (1.1):

1. I install drivers, do restart - audio is present. But whenever i switch between modes (7.1. etc) the audio stops and it doesn't come back, even after restart. Only way is to uninstall corsair drivers, install windows drivers and sound is back on. What is up with that? Am i missing something about these different modes?

2. Also, after installing corsair drivers, windows sounds go bonkers, i.e. switching folders in windows explorer just make a really short crackling noise etc. Music, games etc seem to work fine, but it's very annoying.

Motherboard is Asus P8H77-V. Under Sound, video and game controllers (in control panel), i have :

1. AMD High Definition Audio Device

2. Corsair Vengeance 1500

3. VIA High Definition Audio

I tried disabling others, but nothing works, still both problems persist.
