Silvers24
I know I am not the only person with this issue. But i'd like to know, which USB header will I connect the Link Cable into? This is the second unit I have tried. First one worked great, but same problem, but the bolt whole threads where stripped. This one is working lovely, but I can not for the life of me get the corsair link stuff to work. Let alone pickup the H100I, nothing about the cooler is detected. What can I do? If I cant use the software, then I guess I will use my motherboard 4 pins for fans afterall. Or use a Mini USB to USB. But, why does the header not work? I have no components connected that would interfer with it. And I know my headers work, I have used them for other USB Hubs, and the mobo is not even a month old. (This h100i is two days old)
Skeeterslint
What version of the software are you running?More then likely you need to update the firmware of your commander unit since they ship with an old firmware that the 2.X software doesn't see. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 12, 2013 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 12, 2013 You may have to install the AMD Chipset drivers if you have not install all of the USB chipset drivers that should be first then install the latest version of Corsair Link. antonyfrn
Same mobo as mine I can confirm the combo works. I've had my h100i connected to both of the USB2.0 mobo connectors and its work try device manager view by connection you should see a usb input device.
