zinoswink
My media center had been using an EVGA 780i motherboard. Everything worked reasonably well, no hardware problems. Q6600 G0 stepping, EVGA GT430. I've changed only the motherboard (Intel DP43BF) and ram (Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9, 2 x 2 GB) and now I get no post or video, can't get to bios screen. Trying this board because it's difficult to find one for the old LGA775 processors. As I've said, all the other hardware worked fine before, only changed motherboard and ram. I read several reviews that said this ram worked with the motherboard but I suspect that's not true in all cases. What Corsair ram can I use (part number please)? I've read that if the bios is updated, the ram I purchased may work but I have no other DDR3 laying around. If nothing else, can you point me to what ram will work so I can get to and upgrade bios?
